Well don't get your dreams shattered just yet. No one to date has ever got past the UL yet.

This proposed product from Clarian seems to be mainly PR blurb. Possibly the are trying to sucker in investors. Another site had an article - possibly RE News and that writer wrote even less of an article.

They also specialize in the small rooftop high speed turbines. The type that is useless plus dangerous to your house's structure.

The Clarian document says they use all UL approved components so no problem. The fact that possibly they would use UL approved components is meaningless - the assembly is what has to be approved plus meet code.

I expect it is just a huckster trolling for suckers.

It has to have UL 1771 certification, until then it cannot be used.
