    Price differential for Sunpower Series

    Hi,

Just wondering is someone can enlighten me to any price per watt differential between the various Sunpower Series, specifically e20 vs e19 vs e18, or even within a series. I have plenty of roofspace so having the most efficient is not an issue for me. Just want to get the best bang for buck. I have an installer selected and their recommendation is the low end E18 or 225 watt panels. Doing 4.5 KW so this is 20 panels and includes enphase microinverters.

Was thinking older tech panels could be cheaper as the price drops as in older microprocessors. Your thoughts?

    Thanks!

If you have the roof space, you are right, you don't need to pay the hi-eff panel preimum.
