    Phase-Change Thermal Storage

From looking around the internet, I haven't found anyone selling systems with phase-changing materials incorporated in the storage tank (I am thinking thermosiphon) to save space/weight.

Anyone know of a source for these?

There are waxes that are designed for around 70F. Storage tanks are pretty un-controlled and you only see the gains if you cycle the phase-change material at their setpoint, once it's frozen or thawed, there is no gain.

If they worked at a reasonable they would be a very big deal to the utilities - nothing in the wind today
