  • Upgrade or not???

Hello everyone, need some advice. Over a period of a few years I brought some panels and some Enphase microinverters, M215 and M250. Before I get started installing the system should I sell the "old" ones and buy new IQ7 inverters? Or just stick with what I have and go for it? Down the road if one goes bad how do you replace it when you can't find them on ebay anymore?

I guess the big question is do you plan on going with a grid connection and contract with your POCO or what?

Then you have to make a decision to pull the trigger now and get that equipment installed per NEC and your POCO or spend more money and get the latest hardware. From what I have heard a lot of people have the older M215 inverters and have been able to upgrade to newer ones if they failed. But you have to determine your entire system configuration before just upgrading pieces and parts.
