  • Need help with Connector Name

I have recently come to get 10 free solar panels that Im thinking of adding to my existing roof to increase bit of production on my side. I need bit of help on this:

    My Solar Panels are ES-180-SL - 180W: http://www.posharp.com/es-180-sl-sol...79385099d.aspx

    I've 6 240v MicroInverters made by enecsys smi-240-60: https://www.energysage.com/solar-inv...12/smi-240-60/

However I need to know how do I connect the panel to this inverter. What is the connector called and where can I find it?

    Please see attached screenshot.

My first thought is MC4 connectors, BUT there are 2 different pairs shown, and you may have to look closely to see if there is any lettering molded into the connector body

The rubber barrel shaped connectors are MC-3. The hard plastic ones are most likely MC-4. Your best bet is to replace the MC-3's with MC-4's. You can buy crimp on ends and a crimper relatively cheaply these days.

From the sound of the microinverter's model number I'm thinking they are intended for 60 cell panels. The voltage of the 180 watt, 72 cell panels may not play together.
