hi new to this and im cheap lol,i have 4 240w panels 36v out,i have 5 12v batterie and a 3000w inverter set up for 12v,i have a pwn controller witch doesnt like 36vs so i guess i need a mppt charge controller not sure,i need to draw 350w for 12hrs,thanks

Hello ohdiditellyou and welcome to Solar Panel Talk
My concern is the 5 12v batteries wired in parallel which even then may not be able to supply that 4.2kWh (350w x 12h = 4200wh) you need.
On top of that with close to 1000watts of panels (4 x 240w = 960w) your PWM CC is really turning them into maybe 600 watts of charging. You definitely need an 80amp MPPT CC -
yeah the pwm wont charge even with one panel,currently hooked up to a 100w panel 18v out,charges fine,but batteries drain fast,so i know if i keep the 12v system i will lose alot of watts,wont work with the pwm,can you recommend a cheap mpptComment

There are a number of quality MPPT type made by; Outback, Midnite, Morningstar, Victron, Blue Sky to name a few.Comment
