Depending on the limits of your charge controller, the simplest way to charge 12V batteries with all 6 or 8 of the panels , would be to wire
3 or 4 panels in series (best to use all the same panels in series) and then wire the 2 sets of panels in parallel. This would give you about
80V @ 10amps. When a MPPT controller gets done with regulating it, you would be charging 12V battery with about 55Amps.
MPPT controllers do their magic by converting high voltage, low amps, to low voltage, high amps.
read wat u wrote mike
I connect 4 panels in series n the other 2 in Parallel
now u telling me ur info is wrongComment

Whoa, I'm telling you, that your interpretation of what I said, is wrong.
Do you have 6 panels or 8 ? Your number keeps changing. Every time you post, your configuration is different.
If you have 6 panels, wire
3 in series..
and
other 3 in series. Then parallel the 2 series groups (of 3)
If you have 8 panels AND your controller can survive the voltage of 4 panels in series,
4 in series..
and
other 4 in series. Then parallel the 2 series groups (of 4)
I will lock your other confusing threads, and we'll discuss all here in this one.Last edited by Mike90250; 12-10-2017, 11:24 PM.Powerfab top of pole PV mount (2) | Listeroid 6/1 w/st5 gen head | XW6048 inverter/chgr | Iota 48V/15A charger | Morningstar 60A MPPT | 48V, 800A NiFe Battery (in series)| 15, Evergreen 205w "12V" PV array on pole | Midnight ePanel | Grundfos 10 SO5-9 with 3 wire Franklin Electric motor (1/2hp 240V 1ph ) on a timer for 3 hr noontime run - Runs off PV ||
