Battery backup service?

Saw this start popping up recently. https://battery.solardot.com/offer?u...e=facebook-ads . Seems like a cool idea instead of the heavy investment for battery backup. Still not sure it would be worth it for the yearly hurricane season since I don't usually get hit bad but still interesting. Anyone familiar with this?

The battery is 2.6 kWhr. It does not appear to have an inverter so you would need a hybrid inverter that can AC couple if you want to be able to use an existing solar installation. No information about purchase. No information about the $30 teaser rental rate length. I generally don't respond to incomplete sales pitches like that because they are a door opener for massive upsell. I prefer to own anyway.
