I have a stock of 8 new 150AH Gel 12V batteries, they have been stored for 8 month.
They now don't accept any charging from the charge controller, as soon as I connect them to the charger they show a fake voltage of 13.5 and are not charged.
But when I connect them to any small load (a 100w bulb for example) the voltage quickly drops to 11v in a matter of 15 minutes, and the off grid inverter just shuts down and shows FAULT
Then the voltage recovers to the fake 13.5v within minutes without charging!
The charge controller, inverter and panels just work fine when connected to other FLA 150AH batteries, so the problem is in the batteries
this seems very awkward, is there a method to recover these batteries and make them function properly?
