I'm looking for a little system to power a fish pond pump, a few water heaters in the winter so the water won't freeze and a heat lamp for some baby chickens in the summer. and MAYBE if there is anything extra put it into the grid to get bills down a bit.
Thinking I need some batteries to last the nights, but not fussed if I use power from the grid. Is there a list of equipment needed and/or a diagram of how to set it up. Can I use car batteries or will they have to be "special" ones for solar use?
I am planning to get it up and running for around easter time, so I have time to read up and get the equipment bit by bit.
Like the title says, I'm a total noob to solar, I am thankful for all the help, knowledge and guidance you feel like you can give me.
