We did one install of a metal roof with Ironridge XR-100 rails, Ironridge L-foot brackets and roof attachment devices from another company called S-5 . Both Ironridge and S-5 were good with support, answering questions promptly and knowledgably. Ironridge and S-5 also have a lot of good information on their websites. The results so far are very good. The S-5 devices attached to the metal roof very securely and quickly.
Contact S-5 directly for their advice on the best device for your particular roof. The Ironridge L-foot attaches directly to the S-5 with 160 inch-pounds of torque. Here's some tech info on the S-5 devices.

The S-5 website has a long distributor list. Ironridge is also sold by many dealers. Two Ironridge dealer names that come up frequently and get good reviews are Renvu and AltE.
As you know, metal roofs are very slippery. One pro taught us that installing the lowest rail first is best, because it gives you a secure ledge to lean a foot on while working on the next rail up. We quickly learned that the S-5 combined with the L-foot and XR-100 rail was very secure and could take more than our body weight.
****But even that is no substitute for roof anchors, safety harnesses and safety lines. Your life depends on it, so be extra careful on a metal roof.****7kW Roof PV, APsystems QS1 micros, Nissan Leaf EV -
