Hi,
Does anyone know the emphase micro inverter EMF value at 0 distance?
It will be on my roof top so it will decay rapidly so it should not be a problem. but I like to know if someone measured it.

The strength of a magnetic field is 1/D^3... so I don't think it really matters what the EMF value is. Even if 100% of the energy is converted into a magnetic field the strength will be ~0 10' away...

No and No. I don't need to because the EMF is 1/D^3... you're getting more harmless radiation from your computer than you would from a micro-inverter on your roof even if that micro inverter was a 500w electro-magnet.

That's only a problem if you're not grid-tied. Voltage and current fluctuations from a 5kW group of micro-inverters aren't going to be detectable in your home when you're tied to a 100kW transformer that's tied to a 10MW substation that's tied to a 100GW electric grid....

I do not think the intensity and frequency is any danger to humans. But I believe the formula you state is
for a point source. With an array of uniformly spaced sources, it is not a point, and intensity in the near
field will be fairly uniform. Only when you are far enough away for the array to be a relative point, will

Yes. It's a scam. Inductors smooth out electricity. A wire is an inductor. If you're grid-tied you're connected to miles of wire.

If you're off-grid and an inverter is supplying your home then you can see harmonic distortions because the grid isn't there to smooth it out.

It's nonsense. Odd how he didn't show hooking his meter up after the sun was set. There has never been any clinically demonstrated adverse biological effect of EMF. It's a placebo.

Ok. So say dirty electricity is all over the place in your house from wiring. but as long as you keep the distance away from those source(wall, tv, microwave, microinverter), EMF should be noise level, correct?

Correct. I wouldn't worry about stray RF or EMF generated from solar equipment. For that matter if is is approved in the USA it must meet FCC standards which limit the output noise it can generate.

You probably get more RF and noise from a Ham Operator that is next door to you.
