One 120V mat is 3.5A x 120V = 420 Watts. So I need another panel. How does the charge controller on each panel effect the batteries? And how many 6v or 12 v batteries would I need?
Good equipment match up?

Your panels will probably never attain their rated peak, and max for only an hour a day. So maybe
you could collect enough energy to run one mat a couple hours a day, run a pvwatts simulation for
your area. Your most economical approach would be to pick a set of panels that could be wired
directly to your mat. Bruce RoeComment
