As stated, I'm looking into a small 12v to 120v inverter I can run continuously. Want it to run satellite receiver at off gird cabin so it can receive periodic updates from Sat company. Needs to be able to run for 3-4 months on end. Saves me from dragging it in and out. The Wattage draw is only about 25 watts. Any such thing exist?

Perhaps that small but lots of 50 to 100 watts models. For electrictronic equipment get True Sine Wave only. MSW are noisy and may not play well with electronics. You want to limit the size to about 75 to 50% of max load for efficiency. So 50 to 100 watts with a 35 watt load is perfect.MSEE, PE -
Ok, any specific brands that will last running that long? I feel like having the inverter and fan inside running straight for 3-4 months seems like a good recipe for failure. Is it likely a try and see if it fails or not kind of scenario.Comment

I have a morningstar suresine that runs a string of LED lights in the privy 24/7/365 and dewalt battery chargers, I guess it's close to 8 years old now, always on, except when I changed out the marine battery 2 years ago.Powerfab top of pole PV mount (2) | Listeroid 6/1 w/st5 gen head | XW6048 inverter/chgr | Iota 48V/15A charger | Morningstar 60A MPPT | 48V, 800A NiFe Battery (in series)| 15, Evergreen 205w "12V" PV array on pole | Midnight ePanel | Grundfos 10 SO5-9 with 3 wire Franklin Electric motor (1/2hp 240V 1ph ) on a timer for 3 hr noontime run - Runs off PV ||
