  • Monitoring Two StorEdge inverters

New here. Hoping to understand how the logical layout of my system is supposed to look in the SolarEdge monitoring website. There are two StorEdge inverters, each connected to a panel array on a tracker. Inverter #1 has an actual internal Revenue Grade Meter, #2 does not. The RGM feature Is not actually needed. #1 is master to #2 slave on RS485-E wired connection. #1 uses a wired LAN link to the internet. Right now #1 is configured to connect to WattNode RWNC-3D-240-MB on RS485 but there is no separate box. Is this the internal RGM?
Online logical layout shows the two inverters connected to a Production meter Z with zero output and the WN meter only shows production from inverter #1. Graphs only chart this number, not the site total. How is the configuration supposed to look?

There are no batteries in this system yet.

      sounds like it.

You should see the production on solaredge site.
If RGM is not needed you should disable it on the inverter.
The monitoring site will use the RGM as the default as long as it is configured on the inverter.
It should normally we wired to show TOTAL production not just the one inverter.

Why do you have StorEdge with no batteries? future expansion?

Disable means clearing the RS485 config?
Does the RGM only report on its own inverter and not the slave?
Not seeing total production is the problem I am trying to fix.
          Yes, future battery plans

as wired from the manufacture yes it only reports on its own. It is easy to rewire and run the second inverter through the same CTs to get both though.

To disable you have to go into the configuration on the inverter and set it to not have an RGM

that is an odd layout I uploaded it through the web page here... File Feb 14, 09 28 06_preview.jpeg

from that layout there are two production meters: one not reporting, and the other not associated with either inverter.

The one that is reporting is clearly showing only one inverters production though.
