I've been using a XW6048 for +7 years now, runs a 1kw pump 4 hours day in summer, and our house all the time. So far, so good. And it's got an awesome 100a charger in it.Powerfab top of pole PV mount (2) | Listeroid 6/1 w/st5 gen head | XW6048 inverter/chgr | Iota 48V/15A charger | Morningstar 60A MPPT | 48V, 800A NiFe Battery (in series)| 15, Evergreen 205w "12V" PV array on pole | Midnight ePanel | Grundfos 10 SO5-9 with 3 wire Franklin Electric motor (1/2hp 240V 1ph ) on a timer for 3 hr noontime run - Runs off PV ||

I do but in another threat. Anyway here they are
6 - Orion 1000 ECO260 (32V Vmp @ 8.13Amp, 38V Voc)
1 - Outback Flex 80 with one string of panel in serie
1- MPPT30 (I know they are not true MPPT, they are more a PWM) with the other string in parallel
4 - 6 volt Deka 8L16 and 4 more waiting for the 48v inverter
1- 2000 watt 12V inverter (Reason of this threat)
More information about why this setup, here https://www.solarpaneltalk.com/forum...t-of-questions
I'm looking at the outback invertersAttached FilesComment

Well that isn't much of a requirement. The OutBack inverters are also chargers and would pair very well with the FlexMax80
one option might be to return the FlexMax80 and purchase the FlexPowerOne system which bundles an inverter, Mate3, FlexM80, shunts, wiring, etc all set up. You would just need to connection to the battery, array, and AC load....

as for the Inverter, you could get it with Either the FXR3048 or the VFXR3648 (3kw sealed or 3.6kw vented)

You might be able to find some older FX3048, the R is just for reporogrammable and just the latest version. I have the GTFX3048 which is an older version and was replaced by the FXR3048. (GT being Grid Tie version).
A benefit of the FXR series is that it is highly configurable and will work as grid tie or off grid and would definitely grow with you.

The GT will work off grid but will not sync to generators as well . I have the GTFX but mine is grid tie / backup.
If you want to go with the older versions then the VFX would be better.OutBack FP1 w/ CS6P-250P http://bit.ly/1Sg5VNHComment

Well I don't decide yet if I go off-grid completly. But I do wanna use more solar that POCO. In my house I still dont have power since the hurricane Maria hit last september. I want to use the power grid in the case of the system fail.Comment

When the grid is there you can use net metering and save your batteries.
