    What do u guys think about using a SolarEdge wave inverter instead of spending up to $1,500-$2,000 in upgrading the panel?

    You are going to have to explain why the HD-Wave inverter helps you avoid a panel upgrade.

        Because the inverter takes a smaller breaker from what I understand. No?

          Breaker size is based on the inverter output rating. For example, all 240 V, 3 kW inverters require the same size breaker.

                I was trying to say if that inverter uses a smaller breaker then does it make sense to use that in order to skip upgrading the panel?

                      It is the apostrophe. I get it all the time from my iPad auto putting in the apostrophe and the web forum cuts off the post at that point when you save. Seems t have started about a month ago.

                        forum anti spam protection. non-standard chars trigger truncation. not much issue with windows pc's but phones with non-usa based os are likely to be using non-std chrs
