  • Disable DHCP on SolarEdge SE7600A-USS2

Does anyone know how to disable DHCP on a Solar Edge 7600 inverter... according to the instructions, you are supposed to select Server->LAN->LAN Conf and disable DHCP... I don't see this option. When I go into Communications->Lan Config-> all I see is Modbus TCP and EXIT...

I'm hardwired to my Ethernet router, no wifi, or Zibee (yuck) config...

To get access to that menu, you have to operate the control panel using the internal buttons (take the lid off), not the external button.

Rather than disable DHCP, you could also go into your router (most router) and do a "fixed" IP address reservation (i.e. assignment) for the MAC address of the SE7600A.

Grest suggestion. I believe I did that but I'll check.

If the point is to assign fixed LAN IP then assigning it in your router settings based on inverter's MAC is much better idea. If your router lucking this option check if DDWRT firmware for your router hardware exists, that definitely has this option.
