Apparently my 3.5K PV system is only working at 50% efficiency. By now it should have produced 18k units but it has only produced 9k. Been advised that this is due to the inverter input voltage (230v) varying and clouds going over which causes the inverter to switch off too much and could cause it to fail completely. System is 5 years old. He suggested a voltage stabiliser unit for the inverter. How much of this is plausible and how much salesmanship on his side? Cost of the stabiliser unit

There is some buggy software that won't accept any formatting other than simple ASCII. even text pasted from notepad, if it has unicode character text in it, gets dumped.
You can thank the spammers of the world, trying to sell anything, Forums have had to resort to extensive character filtering to keep them out, And for the last 3 weeks, it's helped a lot, but prevents some of the good stuff from honest folks.Powerfab top of pole PV mount (2) | Listeroid 6/1 w/st5 gen head | XW6048 inverter/chgr | Iota 48V/15A charger | Morningstar 60A MPPT | 48V, 800A NiFe Battery (in series)| 15, Evergreen 205w "12V" PV array on pole | Midnight ePanel | Grundfos 10 SO5-9 with 3 wire Franklin Electric motor (1/2hp 240V 1ph ) on a timer for 3 hr noontime run - Runs off PV ||
