  • Constituent component companies' fiscal stability

An installer just told me SunPower is struggling while another says 'the only company making money in this business is SunPower'.

So who's right, how to find out?

What about Enphase/SolarEdge? I've heard opposite claims about the relative viability of each. I really don't want to become a stock market analyst just in deciding what system to install. Do folks weigh in on these matters here on this site?

    TIA

Also, some have dissed panels made in China as subpar; others have claimed this is irrelevant. Elsewhere it is pointed out that everything comes from China regardless, e.g. Canadian whatever-it's-called is really Chinese. I'm more than a little leery of what amounts to repackaged baseless bigotry.

Help please?! If it's true what really matters in the long run is whether a company/installer is just plain extant, then how's a person to figure this out???

enphase is struggling. SolarEdge is making money:

Sunpower is overpriced and struggling a bit:

compared to canadian for example (less Chinese, more international. )

canadian is not so much Chinese as international. manufacturing is all over.
Canadian is doing much better than Sunpower which is struggling.
do a yahoo financials search and check the Earnings.

Enphase is struggling, SolarEdge is doing well.
