LG Neon 72 Cell (LG360N2W-B3) with Enphase S280 or Solaredge P400 and DC Optimizers?

the P400 is the SolarEdge optimizer. SolarEdge inverters do not work without the optimizers.

It is really your only choice since enphase does NOT support any 72 cell modules so you can't use the LG360N2W-B3 with any enphase optimizer including the S280.

If it is a ground mount system with no shading or uniform shading you may want to consider a string inverter.

Thanks. Although the specs reference 60 cell compatibility, Enphase wants the Solar Panel input DC voltage to be within operating voltage of Enphase which in LG 360W case, it is within the range.

They are referring to the bigger 72 cell modules. Assuming this configuration works, any additional thoughts vs the Solaredge? Are Enphase or Solaredge string converters? If not who makes them? Why the consideration? More efficient?

The VOC on the module is too high for the inverter. I would not assume it would work and if it would there would be clipping.

Enphase is microinverter. Solaredge is optimizer system. String inverters are made by a lot of companies such as sma and fronius. The consideration is for simplicity and lower cost.
