Hi there!
I'm trying to build a PV array simulator ( generates voltage to follow the I-V curve of the array) for conducting Dynamic MPPT Tracking tests on solar inverters. One of the things I havent been able to decide on is what response time would be needed for it to be really useful for most commercial inverters in the market ( up until 100KW). I mean from the time the simulator picks up the existing current value on the bus to the time it puts out the calculated voltage value on the bus. What order of magnitude are we talking about?
I've seen systems out there that claim 100uS and such but I'm sure they cost and I'm wondering if they are overkill for what the market needs!
Thanks!
