    hello

    i have 2 x 150ah wet batteries and a 30amp MPPT charger. the distance between the two is about 6.5feet. Now, i wonder what will be the best thickness of the cable that will connect the batteries with the MPPT charger.

    #8 cable should be pretty good. Not too heavy to work with, lugs don't cost too much. It's what I'd use

      I believe Mike is referring to the US #8 AWG gauge wire which would equate to a dia of 3.26mm or an area of 8.35mm2.
