Hello people! My name is Alex, I'm 21 years old, and I am into car audio.. Yes, car audio. I've been pepping around the forums quite a bit because there is a lot of good information here about batteries. Why this solar forum and not a car audio forum? Because this forums seems like it has more adults, and civil conversations. I'd rather deal with adults and not adults that act like children. I actually have some questions regarding batteries. Is it okay to ask questions even though its not regarding to solar? I don't want to break any rules here.

Brand new member. Cant start an original post so joins in to someone else's thread to introduce themselves and as soon as they use an apostrophe they get cut off. Why cant this be fixed??It's really getting old, no secret, there's a glitch here folks.2.2kw Suntech mono, Classic 200, NEW Trace SW4024Comment

People can come in and join as a new member but do not have the privilege of posting a new thread until our Admin (solar pete) reviews and vets them as not being a Spam source.
Only the Admin can approve a new member for that privilege which may take a day or two depending on his schedule.
The apostrophe issue is really an Apple cell phone issue that uses characters that can be deemed SPAM so it truncates the post.Comment

Funny how we never see any truncated spam messages. I'd rather delete the occasional spam message than have to keep explaining this to people.
Hi Joe, welcome to the forum, try entering the message directly if you can instead of copying and pasting or using the device you used, or try no apostrophes if that's easier.Comment

Yeah...it a bit of a pain we were hoping the last upgrade we did last week would fix...seems it hasnt really, however, has anyone considered that the software may in fact be doing its job by stopping characters that are suspect and thus preventing actual problemsComment

Just kidding of course.Comment

Pete, maybe, but if that was the case wouldn't we see spammers with truncated messages? It seems to truncate messages, not prevent them from getting through.Comment
