Hello All, "New to site" Need help

Hello everyone , As I said I'm new to this site. I need help with problems with the slygard 184. I built a panel and I siliconed the cells to the back of the panel. I decided to build a new frame from aluminum angle & reused the cells. I laid the cells face down on plexiglass & poured 2 slygard kits on the cells. The porblem I'm having is around the edges where I ran a bead of silicone & the sliicone that was left on the back of the cells is not curing like it should. Also I have a ton of tiny air bubbles on the face. I tried to work out the air bubbles the best I could. I poured this panel on 8-28-10 @ around 3:00 PM EST it's now 8-31-10 @ 4:00 EST & the edges are still not cured??

Looks good but you should use PV 108 from dow corning instead of silicone and you might try laying slygard down first on your glass and then put your cells ontop of that then put more slyard to cover the rest of that. you should have no bubbles.

Hi Delta, Ithought of that ,but I know I'd have a hard time handling them being there are 2 strings of 18 and the PV108 is similar to silicone?

I'm going to do it with 72 cell's . 5x5 s it's 64" long and 34" wide 6 roll's of 12 each.
I'll have to get someone to help me put it in the frame but that shouldn't be to hard to fine. Silicone at least some types has something like turpintine in it but not all of them.

What the movie site is I would have difficulty saying as I almost never click on that kind of a link. It could take you anywhere and into anything.
