Welcome.
Can you address the fact of recent energy star, full size, standard brands, fridges and freezers performing as well or better ? I've got an 18CF Fridigare top freezer, running on less than 1KW daily, way less in the winter.Powerfab top of pole PV mount (2) | Listeroid 6/1 w/st5 gen head | XW6048 inverter/chgr | Iota 48V/15A charger | Morningstar 60A MPPT | 48V, 800A NiFe Battery (in series)| 15, Evergreen 205w "12V" PV array on pole | Midnight ePanel | Grundfos 10 SO5-9 with 3 wire Franklin Electric motor (1/2hp 240V 1ph ) on a timer for 3 hr noontime run - Runs off PV ||
|| Midnight Classic 200 | 10, Evergreen 200w in a 160VOC array ||
|| VEC1093 12V Charger | Maha C401 aa/aaa Charger | SureSine | Sunsaver MPPT 15A

EcoSolarCool fridges & freezers are energy efficient, reliable and can save you up to 20% per year on your power bill*. They are most ideal in remote locations with unreliable or no power supply, as well as a range of other environments and applications (e.g. pharmaceutical and laboratory purposes). They come with 2 years warranty/ guarantee and offer excellent value for money. To find out more, please visit our website today
If you don't plug it in you can save 100% of the kWh the fridge uses but that won't come close to 20% of one's annual power bill.

These units are far from energy efficient. Depending on the location, make & model and size of units, operating cost savings of 15% are easily achievable just using newer technology AC units. Over a period of 3 - 5 years using our solar DC units, even greater savings are possible. For more information, visit xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Not many use 20% of the total energy consumed in a home for the fridge only.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]Comment
