You are welcome. I have no problem with someone deciding to use an off grid system but I try to let them understand the cost associated with the battery side.
Installing a grid tie system is the best way to get any type of return on your investment along with reducing your carbon footprint if that is a priority.
Be careful with parallel wired batteries because they tend to age differently no matter how you wire them. They will slowly build up different resistance paths that will result in uneven charging and discharging leading to one or more of the batteries taking on the brunt of the work and falling to an early death. Just keep an eye on their acid concentration using a good hydrometer. That is the only true way of knowing the SOC of a battery.
