  • Inverter voltage fluxuations

    Hi all,

I have a victron multiplus inverter powering the house in an off grid setup.
When a load switches on or off like the fridge, A/C or even higher power lighting I have the problem of lights flicking in the house.
When the load switches on the lights will dim then recover. when load switches off the lights will go brighter then recover.
Upon investigation the voltage drop/gain leads back to the inverter so wiring size is ruled out. Taking voltage measurements the output voltage would dip around 5v then recover.
Reading another forum there was some discussion about output voltage regulation of the inverter. I thought this sort of thing was normal running an inverter but apparently it is not and being a victron unit i would think this sort of thing should not happen.

Any thoughts or advise would be great
    Thanks.
Working...
