          King,

Frankly 'The TopCat' (OffGridHawaiian) doesn't worry about the little things.

He too busy renting those 9 Guest Rooms out and eating all dat brain food at Teshima's Restaurant.

If you look at the Charts on the Specification Sheet for the New S30-0080 Battery Stack,

(which I guess is the 4th Generation ?),

you can quickly get past the 'Chinese arithmetic' throwing everybody off the scent.

Forget all the 17 Amps per stack maximum charge rate stuff.

Just 10 Amps drives the Battery Capacity down to around 1.2 kWh to 1.75 kWh depending on which Chart you go by.

At 2 Amps they are showing the 2.6. kWh.

Not to mention they are also losing 10% of the Full Trip Energy Efficiency at 10 Amps down to 80%.

STILL, I think they might wind up being my man someday because there should be ways around the limitations.

Some of the strengths seem bigger than all of us.

Someday if possible we will need a new thread on the batteries. I just started the investigation. Had a few casual Looks in the past is all.

'TopCat's' 11.66 kWh in Solar may have been a little 'too bad' of a set-up for the First Generation of AHI. It no Lie.

          His dollar was too long.

I just hope he continues to educate us and I sure appreciate it as I'm sure many people do.
