    i'm not in favor of lithium, but new residential based controllers are a positive step. maybe this one has more digital interfaces that can be modded by an Arduino expert and fitted for custom battery builds.

      A bit problematic - the town indicated doesn't seem to be laid out to take advantage of solar - a circular layout so maybe 50% of the panels would be in a decent orientation at any given time.

      If any one can do it the Japanese might be the ones - it requires a high degree of regimentation to have all the residents going somewhat the same way.
