Hi everyone,
This might be a very ignorant question, but I am currently working on a project involving two 12V batteries in series being charged. The two options are:
1) Charge both batteries in series (therefore 24V) with 2A of current from our solar charge controller.
2) Charge both batteries independently (therefore 12V each) with 2A of current going into each battery.
Are these two charging styles technically equal? I know charging independently is smarter, but this is more for a theoretical explanation. A picture is attached. Thanks!
