We're planning a 20kW ground mount install this Fall.
2 items I want to prepare for is future panel expansion and future battery storage.
Are single (series) inverters and micro inverters equal when it comes to adding battery storage?
Would we be better to run 550V DC toward a series inverter (located 300' from the panels). Could we then tap into the DC before it's 'converted' to AC?
