Long time lurker, first post. Have 8.3 kW grid tie pv. Live rural southwest Az. 2-3 times per summer 16-30 hour outages. We are end of line so last to get restored. Southwest Az. A/C is a critical load along with well, fridge, and freezer. Have a quote for 24 hour autonomy with Outback 200RE batteries. Anyone have experience with them? Or is diesel genset better option? No propane or natura gas so that's out. I am diesel mechanic by trade so partial to that anyway. And I can always pull fuel from pickup or tractor if needed. Let's hear what everyone thinks. Thanks. Ross
