Add DC charger or power supply to 12v system

I have a similar question:

Just wondering if anyone have done this

use a Genasun GV-5 lithium solar charge controller with a wall adapter AC to DC to connect to the panel input on the Controller to charge the 12V lifepo4 battery.

I plan on building one of those all in boxes with a few 12v socket and USB for emergencies and was wondering if I could just install a Genasun inside and charge the battery from the Home AC or a Solar panel down the road when I finally get one.

A panel controller assumes a rather higher impedance in the power source, and adjusts to
optimize production. A typical power supply, including wall warts, has a very low impedance
output and could be overloaded and overheated by this type controller. You best just get a
plug in charger for the battery. Bruce Roe

there are different Amperage versions.

Certainly, ANY voltage supply attempts to have low output impedance, none are
suitable for suppling a panel controller. Bruce Roe
