You could use an ac coil relay and run a light or buzzer on the dash when ignition is switched on.

But more simply. You can run the Shore Power cord over the driver door mirror so you see it when you open the door.

But all I do is, when Im in the drivers seat ready to go get out and do one more walk around and check everything, then get back in and go.

Hmmm. I usually CC a 380 and based on the type of ammo I use a person would have to come back to life to be mad.

I was just joking, but you knew that. 380 is known as a Ladies Friend. Personally I like and CC a 357 Sig, and my leg cannon his big brother a Ruger 357 Magnum revolver I sleep with. You do not even need to aim with a magnum, the concussion will knock them down if you miss. Wifey has a 380 and CC in her purse.

Funny how y'all and everyone else I know and myself in solar are pro gun and some form of republican/libertarian and yet the lefties seem to claim solar and renewable energy as theirs. Problem is, installing solar is too much like work so I guess they gave up on the idea. You know how they hate work.

I know of ~ 110+ homes equipped with PV, having reviewed and watched them being built as part of my HOA duties. Politics and opinions of their occupants are all over the board and about equally divided left/right/center. The common thread among those homeowners is solar ignorance born of laziness and having more money than brains The solar con men and their ignorant tree hugging minions, just like those running other cons, feed off the ignorance. in that respect an in my observation only, conservatives, liberals and everyone in between are about equally ignorant. and gullible.

Most everyone I know personally (except me maybe) would not have done PV if they didn't think they'd be saving money. They could care less about the planet when compared to or given a choice between a dollar and the welfare of the planet. Most couldn't name a greenhouse gas if you put a gun to their head.

Problem there is most believe what are usually financial half truths about cost effectiveness, with no clue about how to make sound financial decisions. Their opinions mostly consist of the last thing they heard that they think will save them money, or impress, or keep up with, their neighbors. In that sense politics is irrelevant, as is firearm ownership.

BTW, true libertarians, of which I consider myself one, are not usually associated with a major political party - except maybe the Libertarian party - and are not necessarily associated with the political right or conservative philosophies.

Historically, more libertarians have been closer to commies and socialists rather than republicans.

                Rant mode off.

Yep. I have heard that rumor before about the 380 which is why I use either Speer Gold Dot or Hornady Critical Defense in it.

My other pocket cannons are a little large for CC but my Ruger 357 is easy access next to my bed.

Yep Hornady CD is a good round. What model Ruger? Mine is GP100, 6-inch, 6-rounds. Some indoor ranges will not allow me to fire it.

                    Never mind way off topic.

How about a "Remove before flight" type red ribbon they use on aircraft? Put Velcro on it, keep it on the dash, and attach it to the steering wheel as soon as you park. Easy, low tech, and effective.

Although I've never had to use it, and hope not to, my short barrel, pistol grip, 12 ga shotgun will neutralize one or more home intruders rather quickly.

I actually have a ribbon like that in my RV. Anytime I raise the TV antenna I put that "tag" on my steering wheel so I remember to lower it before I drive off. Simple and easy reminder.

As for a short barrel shot pistol. I have shot a judge before and it hurt.

I thought of a way. I changed protocol for driving off by only approaching the vehicle from the back driver's side that way I always have to pass by the connection before I get in and start it up.
