Hey guys. This is the first time I've ever tried a solar panel set up for my tent trailer. I have 2 Coleman 40 watt, 12v crystalline panels. 2 charge controllers that came with them and one Deep cycle battery. The panel cords are the two prong snap together ones I'll post pics. And then out of the controller you have leads that clip to the battery terminals. Can I use these both together? Can I go panel to controller to battery with both panels without rewiring and the controllers will kick out when it charges?

Wow I cannot believe my eyes, 1970 technology still on the market.
OK the charge controller is real basic, a Relay to connect a panel to the battery, and a voltage comparator to operate the relay when the battery reaches 14.2 volts. Simple as it gets. The controller is rated for 7 amps, and the panels on its best day can only generate 2.1 amps. You could use 3 panels on one controler.MSEE, PEComment
