All Set to make a Solar Panel. Require some informtion

I can't decide on the Charger. From what I know, my panel would be having following Specs:

Watt = 259.2 (1.8w x 144 cells)
Volate = 18

from equation, I should get 14ampere. Is it correct? So I should buy a 15A or so Charge controller?

It will probably generate that number for a few minutes at solar noon on a perfectly clear and cool day. Good power generation comes only for a window around solar noon - 2 to 3 hours before and after depending on the time of year.

Can you please suggest the wiring size? What size (MM) wiring I should use from SP to CC. The length must be around 12mts from roof to CC

MY system is Approx 260W @ 18V. This should generate 14.5 Ampere at max.

Say, if its generating 8-10A and I used battery to 50% daily. It will take 8-10 hours to get recharge. Is it correct?

I completed one panel out of 5. The configuration is 6 x6 of 3x6 cells. All in Series to Generate Voltage at 18VDC. But when I put the panel in Sun, the Voltmeter was showing 21.3VDC

Is it Normal?

Bus wire is used mostly where its thinness is necessary to allow encapsulation of the cells and a cover layer of glass or plastic without causing too large a separation by its thickness.
It is also convenient for soldering to tab wire because of its matching width.

But you can use any other type of wire as long as you can connect it and it will not be exposed to corrosion. Aluminum wire, for example, would not be a good idea. Tinned copper would be better than plain copper for some environments.

Alrite. I got into trouble again. I got a local EVA manufacturer and he's selling 1000mm x 1m of EVA at around $2.5. Pretty Cheap. BUT we are not having any Tedlar/TPT/TPE manufacturer or supplier here. An getting it import turns out to be $14 USD / Meter.

Can we replace Tedlar with something else? Can we use Synthetic Paint coat to use as Water Proofing MAterial after encapsulating cells in EVA?

Where are you reading that voltage? and are batteries connected. Always connect charge controller to batteries then to panels unless otherwise instructed by the cc manufacturer.

You appear to have a PWM type CC which just regulates the current flowing to the batteries but does not do anything to convert the voltage. As a result you are losing potential power from the panels because the panel voltage will be held very close to the battery terminal voltage whenever current is flowing.

I am checking the voltage at the end of wires. I mean near the Charge Controller. I did the same thing, first CC to Bat then CC to Panels.
