  • 220 VAC versus 240 VAC microinverters which is better?

I am planning a 10 kW install, and using microinverters for the first time. Enphase can be wired as 220 VAC or 240 VAC. Can anyone give me a reason to chose one over the other? or is it merely a matter of preference?

    thanks in advance!

Simply to match what your utility standard. 220/110 is an old standard and was the minimal standard voltage. Today is 240/120 +/- 5% nominal. Use the higher voltage setting.

Actually they will auto adjust to the voltage. the difference is they can be wired in a 240V single phase arrangement for most homes in the US or by using a different cable they can be wired for 208V 3 phase.
