    OK then Rich the only thing that has enough capacity to do any damage is the battery itself. No way a 60 watt panel can damage #10 AWG as the fusing current on 10 AWG is 330 amps. Isc on a 60 watt panel is around 4 or 5 amps max. So the only cable section you have that has potential for damage is between the CC and battery.
