One way DC current diode
Pls advise that do I need to put one-way DC current diodes in between by Solar Charge Controller and batteries bank ?
I just want to be sure that current does not flow back from batteries to the charge controller.
No not necessary, A quality CC will already have one built in.
thanks, I will ask my CC supplier that does it have this protection built-in or not .
just in case it does not have , then can u recommend me some good brand / make / type of such diodes ?
specs of my CC are : 48V - 30 Amps

CC if it was made after 2001 has it in it.

Martshmoo: Thanks.. mine is brand new, purchased this month. Moreover, I contacted the supplier in china, and they confirmed that the CC already has in-built safety. So no need for such items.
John P : Thanks, I agree. Further, as the manufacturer has also confirmed me that safetys are already inplace inside the CC, so no need for these.
