    Solar cell - conductive Glass

I have try a successful experiment of make a small piece of glass (one side) conductive. But how to make a big sheet of glass conductive at a time. Please guide.

The more conductive you make it, the less light it transmits.

Yes, you are right, I want to make conductive a big piece of glass at a time instead of small pieces of glass one by one. And please guide me to make a big piece of glass conductive.

Sorry, I don't know how. I suspect it involves getting a coating of a conductor onto the glass, for the front side of PV cells, they condense evaporated aluminum onto them, in a vacuum chamber.

          Solar cell price

          HI,

Does anyone know the current rate of the market for solar cell per watt.

Bare cells, or in a panel ? Mounted on your roof, or in a cardboard box?

Just look at the price, and figure it out. There is no "solar PV exchange", just the marketplace. I've seen them between $1 -$3 watt this week, for panels.

What does a car cost ? it's just too wide open.

Please describe about the process of coating evaporated aluminum on glass. Can I adopt this process at home? Using which term, I can search about it at google?

                HI Mike,

Thanks for your quick reply. Yes, strongly agree that its really too wide open. Sorry for that. Actually I was looking for the price of poly crystalline solar cell.

how r u going to evaporate/melt aluminum at your house? do you even have a basic understanding of metal properties?the answer is no.

                    "Vacuum vapor deposition"

Not doable at home, unless you live in a large industrial factory.

As to the solar panels, search for those on google too. While I sometimes act like an encyclopedia, I really am not one.
