  • drop in amperage

pls what could lead to sudden amps drop on a pv array that use to be very effective during a bright sunny day but now only charge faster during the early morning hour and charge very slowly during peak hours?

      Could be a few things.

      1. Which is doubtful is you are using less energy, thus your batteries are fully charged and can take no more charge. Will also mimic #2.
      2. Most likely candidates are: Batteries are near end of life.
      3. Shade from a single leaf or branch can shut your system down depending on how the panels are configured.

Does not sound like an equipment problem if you are charging in morning Sun other than batteries or shading.

I was suspecting heat guyz as it was mounted on my roof with no space nw there is a little space inbetween the panel and the roof.
The result is amazin fenx guyz

Heat affects voltage. not current. Is your controller PWM or MPPT?

how did "no space" on your roof transform to "now there is a little space". What happened ? Did panels shift?

                  You need new batteries.
