Ok I have 6 trojan T105 batteries. How can I string them to suit the inverter 24v?

Here is what I have in mind string 2 sets of 2 batteries in parallel. And string them in series with the remaining 2 batteries.

    How does that sound.
    That still won't work.

All "strings" or "series wired batteries" need to be equal in every way not just in voltage rating.

IMO you have two extra 6volt batteries that should be used in a different system at 12volt then trying to use them in a 24v system.

Already answered this. Loose two batteries or gain two batteries. Take your pick.

If you use 6 volt batteries, it takes 4 in series to make 24 volts. So loose 2 batteries or gain 2 batteries. FOUR, EIGHT, TWELVE, SIXTEEN...

If I buy one of those Collins Class submarine batteries, do you think I will need to recharge it if I only run my LED reading light?
