    Solar System Bids

    Hello all -

My company has a distribution center in Mass. and Colorado and we've started to explore solar systems. They've tasked me with doing some preliminary research and connecting with vendors to begin collecting bids. I'm wondering (hoping) some of you might have some advice or tools that would be helpful in evaluating vendor bids. I'm quickly getting up-to-speed through my research; and I believe I have a solid starting place for evaluation, but I'm sure there are tools out there to help go through this process. I obviously want to avoid missing something that would potentially impact the evaluation; so any advice/recommendations/etc. that you could send my way would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Adam

    Hi Adam
    Welcome
Start by going to the banner ad at the top of the home page and plug in a zip code.
Choose a few with the highest ratings and let them contact you.
Once you get a few bids come back with questions.

      Hi wolfach,

I would start by getting a handle on how you are billed for electricity in the two different locations (if you havnt already) and then working out the system size that is required. Keep reading and asking questions and you should get a good result. The site sponsors may be helpful to you www.solarreviews.com and www.solar-estimate.org cheers.
