I currently have 2 six volt 107 AH wired in series to yield 12 volts. I'm going to be given a 12 volt deep cycle battery that I want to add to the system for more amp hours. Can I add the new 12 volt battery parallel with the 2 six volt batteries that are wired in series to increase the amp hours?

Putting batteries in parallel is not a good idea in general, and is particularly bad if the batteries are not the same voltage, capacity, chemistry, model and age from the same manufacturer.
That is, identical batteries.
Anything else will not share the current properly among the batteries and will lead to premature failure at best.SunnyBoy 3000 US, 18 BP Solar 175B panels.Comment

Even if that 12 volt battery was 2 x 6 volt similar in Ah to your existing two batteries, if there was a difference in age of even a few months chances are high that one of the older batteries will be the weakest and bring down the other 3 batteries.
First rule of battery systems is never mix different sizes and chemistries.
Second rule of battery systems is never mix old with new.Comment
