List of all evacuated collector manufacturers?

Is there a list somewhere of all evacuated collector manufacturers? I did a search of this site and did not find anything.

I'm looking for every type, not just the usual "open on one end" glass tubes, but also "open on both ends" tubes. (Also there is technically no reason that flat plate or other shapes of evacuated glass should not be possible.)

Does anyone sell individual evacuated tube parts and components? From reading about other people's experience with them on here, it sounds like many of the heat pipes are cheap junk.

Eh, can I save some money by just buying the evacuated glass and mounting frame only, and experiment with building my own heat collection system?

Try this: Google search, "Evacuated tube manufacturers". Lots of hits, mostly China/Asian subcontinent.

A rectangular (flat) profile on an evac. glass tube might be a challenge and still keep cost/thickness down.

Are you after high temps. or is application in cold and/or cloudy climate ?

I'm considering filing a patent to improve on them, trying to figure out who makes the evacuated glass, to see if the manufacturing process can be modified.

So I have no interest in buying a complete system with heat pipes and head, I am interested only in the evacuated glass manufacturers.

Google is your friend - or do you want someone else to do it for you?

The failures have nothing to do with the glass tube - zero.

The failures mentioned are in the heat pipe itself.

Really bright of you to have such an advanced (patentable) idea and no idea of the topic.

General Googling turns up tons of irrelevant results, and people just reselling the same systems repeatedly.

Though I believe I may have found a potentially good source, that separates out much of the fluff.

SRCC is for panels and systems - not for the components. That site is well known to all here.

You are a few years late, the tubes used to make solyndra PVs were for sale for cheap last year.
