  • What voltage to run grid tie inverter

    What voltage should i run grid tie inverter at 30v or 60v. It says it can handle 22v to 60v Will it produce more power at higher voltage?

    300 to 500 volts.

      Real Grid Tie inverters, run 250-550VDC And you don't get into trouble with the electric company about them.

      Generally, the owners manual covers all aspects of installation and use. But they are all different, so we don't know

        That inverter sounds like one of those cheap "plug in" type. It is not a real "grid tie" inverter and is not legal to use in the US and worse there have been a number of similar units that have burned up so they are not safe to use PERIOD.
