Adding More Panels to a Sunny Boy Inverter

    If say the installer puts in a SMA TL series or any dual mppt inverter just use the other input if panels don't match exactly.

      If his system was made up of micro inverters then he may not have to worry about new panels being a slightly different wattage. Wouldn't those inverters generate the same system voltage?

          That is a nice feature for a string inverter. Gives you a little more flexibility for future changes.
