If your definition of "soon" is last month, then that's right. The change to min service charge took effect on Sept 1.

Apply a new monthly surcharge for extremely high-use customers who use more than twice the average amount (more than 400% of the baseline allowance) starting in 2017.
I would probably be one of them with annual usage of about 15,000 kWh pre-solar, so hopefully this helps to keep my payback calcs closer to what they are today.

My Solar installer did every aspect of the job.... from design, to flipping it on. This included moving some vents and repapering the roof.

I wanted one contractor to do the entire job, so if their was ever a issue, their is only one phone call to make, and no wiggle room to get out of it.

I think when you hire a company like this, they do a better job as they too know they are the only ones on the hook for resolving the problem.

My solar experience has been 100/100. The install, the performance, the savings, and the comfort of runnning my A/C nearly 24x7 during this long , hot summer for nearly nothing.

Unfortunately, the mods here have accused me of abusing the forum, by using this thread as a sales gimmick. Pretty lame if you ask me. They even threatened to even lock this thread at one point. As such, I will no longer give my installers name out.

If you read through the thread, its easy enough to figure out who I used, just message any of the members I previously responded to.

To me, the " Ideal" system is one you cant see ( I dont want a science experiment strapped to my house) one that performs as advertised ( It does) one that is 100% reliable and maintenance free ( so far it has been) and one that doenst disturb the integrity of the home ( So far, no leaks, drips, sparks, or smoke.)

              They did a awesome job....

This forum costs some amount of money to run, there are admins to pay, electric bills, data charges, ISP fees, all that stuff.

The fees from sponsors / advertisers pay this. Do you see a lot of ads popping up on this forum ? No.

are the current sponsors, and if forum users USED them (esp. solarreviews ) then long threads and backchanel PM's would not be needed. Doesn't even cost you to use solarreviews as a consumer, and look things up.

As a 3rd person observe the thread, I think it is about time to let it rest.

I'm sure you are very happy with them and they also did my water heater. I'm sure they are good, but they are also with no show, no response or late with few people I referral to them. Every story has good and bad sides, so you really don't need to come back every few days and bring the thread to the top.... We know you are very happy and so am I with my solar.

Mega thread always reminds me of the story how a homeowner looking to save money using a F rating contractor to install his solar and with all the unnecessary dramas. At the end, he turns himself to be a solar installer. Classic!!

Since 8-1-15 there were 63 new posts in this thread.... of which only 12 were mine. Clearly, I'm not the one "bringing the thread to the top" as you say.
