    About 48VDC/220AC inverter products

    Hi

We are building a solar energy system for an island Base Tranceiver Station (BTS). This BTS have a 48V battery system that supply energy for communication devices. Our client want to use an inverter 48VDC/ 220VAC to supply energy for lighting system; total power of lighting system is 200W. So they request a inverter type 48VDC/ 220VAC - 50Hz - 300VA.

Unfortuately, it is so hard for us to find a inverter as their request. We have read many catalogs and we have found that all of 48VDC/ 220VAC inverter have nominal power 3000VA at least, so they are very expensive.

In addition, they need a charger 220VAC - 1000W for this battery system.

Could you recommend to us a solution for this problem, for example, an inverter/charger with less power (about 1000W)

    Thank you for reading!

Well the issue you are running into 48 volt systems are made for high power components. Very doubtful you are going to find anything less than 1000 VA
